We will need some input from you. We need to know what type of service you offer, the types of clients you want to attract, your business name and how people can contact you.

We will provide you with a quick questionnaire which, once completed, will give us the basis of your website build.

• Is there a colour you don’t want to be seen on your website? 
• What do you hope to achieve from your website?

With anything bespoke, it takes time. We aim for around 3 weeks, however this is dependent on your individual design. We will always provide you with a timescale at the time of placing an order.

We use a licensed domain registrar to register domain names on your behalf.

Little known fact: Domains are never owned outright. They are in essence leased. A fee is paid for a time period and prior to that time period expiring, you renew for another period of time. You are always given first refusal when that time period is up. If you forgot to renew, you have up to 70 days after the expiry date to renew it before it goes back on the open market. However, if your domain does expire, any services are frozen so your website and emails will stop working until the renewal has been processed. To this end, reminders for renewals start 90 days before the expiry date to avoid any issues.

Having said all that, as part of our service, we register and manage the renewals for, you providing you continue the annual maintenance service. We will give you plenty of notice to renew.

When we register your domain, we do so on your behalf. The domain is registered in your name or business name so there is never any confusion of ownership. You are able to transfer the domain away should you wish to move from us.

We live in an ever-changing world, and website technology is no exception. Security is paramount as there are plenty of unscrupulous people out they who take pride in breaking into websites, so they can exploit your good name to trick people into handing over personal data or use your business to send out rogue emails etc.

Website maintenance is like insurance for your website. We would like to say 100% that a security breach will never happen or that technology will never fail, however, we can’t. Situations out of our control can arise. What we can 100% say though is we will put right any situation with your website. We back up our servers daily, so the very worst situation will be a minimal loss from that particular day if any new content has been added to your website between backing up and the issue. (although this is highly unlikely to happen)

As well as security, maintenance also provides you with our time to help you should you run into any problems updating anything on your website. 

We also cover your hosting and domain renewals so you dont have to think about anything else.

Hosting and domains are, in essence, leased. This is universal, not just a Soul Purpose thing.

Domains and hosting need to be renewed to keep the website visible and there is a cost involved in this.

On top of that, we want to make sure your website works hard for you.

You can leave us before year 1 ends should you not want to renew and we will help you with this process, packaging up your website for you to move to a different server. However, you will still have server costs and domain name renewals with your new supplier and these will no doubt be similar to our costs, although we are also including full website maintenance as well.
